Great place for any work on your car they are a good bunch of lads nothing's too much for them to do to help you. And they never overcharge you either. Very good garage ,I would only feel happy taking my car there .F
Brilliant. Dave who fitted our towbar and then had to remove it because BMW do not have an electrical system for it went above and beyond the call of duty. And every member of staff were brilliant. Would highly recommend them.F
Took an old Yaris in today. On it's last legs probably so told them I wanted 2 cheap tyres to keep her going a bit longer. Ordered no problem. On arrival told pleasant reception chap I wanted my 2 worst tyres replaced & that I had already identified these as being the OSR and NSF. I asked them to put the 2 new tyres on the front and the better OSF tyre/wheel on the back (to replace the bad OSR). The Receptionist said they would replace the 2 worst tyres and put the new ones on the front. I should then have insisted they did what I had asked but I naively trusted their professionalism. On returning to AA the car was on ramps both front wheels off and tyres being replaced. I asked the fitter why the rear tyre wasn't being replaced and got a load of guff and flim flam about cracking perished tyres and how he was putting new tyres on the front and how he had decided which tyres to replace. I poinred out that this had been discussed with Reception and that a phone call to me re change of plan shiuld have been made. The job was already done now so little point in arguing further. I suspect his decision to replace the 2 front tyres was because that was easier for him to do than to also move the OSF wheel and tyre to the back. On getting home I checked the tyres and the OSF has not been put on properly with the yellow dot aligned to the valve. The NSF was fine. So I checked the 2 new tyres purchased for another car 2 weeks ago and that had also not been aligned with the yellow dot on the one tyre where red and yellow dots were showing. It's not rocket science is it and clearly shows a can't care less attitude. Compounding matters in the comments section the OSR tyre needs changing as badly worn. Really? Really? Well if you had done as asked the tyre would have been considerably less worn. Doh. Finally checked the tyres - Mazzini 605 to find, and this just made my day, I could have had the same tyres bought through Asda, still fitted at AA silencers for £10 less. So let me see. Cant do what asked or said they would do. Have forced me to now buy another 2 tyres when I was hoping to hang on for another month as car on last legs. No wonder the fitter was so keen to order me another 2 tyres lol. And I've paid more than I needed to for this poor level of service. Great. However I did get a nice key fob which is in the bin with the other rubbish. Needless to say not recommended and won't be used again.**Update in response to unnamed owners reply to my review. Thank you for your quick reply. Thank you for confirming that your staff did not change the 2 tyres I asked them to & that when they decided to change a different tyre they did not contact me at that point to discuss their rationale or my options. This alone would warrant a poor review from most customers & an apology from most businesses. Thank you for confirming that even though tyre manufacturers identify the recommended place to align a tyre with the valve you fit them anywhere and then balance them. Thank you for confirming that some of the tyres you fit are available, fitted by you, but purchased through Asda for less. Like many people I deal with who are unable or unwilling to accept responsibility for their actions you have spent most of your reply bad mouthing my car, my attitude to my car, and me, trying to make me out to be a bad person, a danger to other road users, a bad parent, and snide, which is extremely hypocritical in view of your comments about my bad mouthing you when actually all I did was point out things your staff had done & which any customer would have been unhappy about, & which most business owners would have taken as an opportunity to learn from. The rest of your response is a mishmash of fact & mis information designed to make you look good and me look bad. Your response, to paraphrase your own reply, says more about you than it does about me. 3 reviews of poor quality service shows just how seldom I pass comment on poor service. However having had the tyres you fitted for a week they are better than expected so upgraded to 2 starsF
Great as usual, they crack on with the job in hand, and even clean your car for when you pick it up.F
Professional service.. I would highly recommend.. ThanksF
